Code of Conduct for Parents and Wrestlers:

 

Supportive Attitude: As parents, we commit to maintaining a positive and supportive attitude throughout our child's wrestling season. We will encourage and uplift all young athletes, irrespective of the outcome of their matches.

 

Respect for Coaches and Officials: We will show utmost respect to the coaches, officials, and volunteers involved in the wrestling club. We understand that they are dedicating their time and efforts for the benefit of our children.

 

Communication: We will maintain open and respectful communication with the coaches. If we have any concerns or questions, we will approach them in a calm and private manner, avoiding disruptive behavior during practices or competitions.

 

Attendance and Punctuality: We acknowledge the importance of regular attendance and punctuality for practices, matches, and team events. We will make every effort to ensure our child is present and on time for all scheduled activities.  

 

Equipment and Hygiene: We will ensure that our child comes to practice and competitions with the necessary equipment in good condition. Additionally, we will promote good hygiene practices to help maintain a clean and safe environment for all participants.

 

Sportsmanship: We will instill the values of good sportsmanship in our child, emphasizing fair play, respect for opponents, and acceptance of both victory and defeat with grace.

 

Boundaries: We understand that wrestling is a physical sport and consent is essential. We will respect the personal boundaries of all participants and not engage in behavior that could be perceived as aggressive or harmful.

 

Positive Parental Involvement: We will actively participate in club activities and events, offering our support to the organization and fellow parents, fostering a strong and inclusive wrestling community.  We will attend all practices and tournaments to the best of our ability to provide support to the club, coaches and most importantly our child(ren).

 

Conflict Resolution: In the event of any conflicts or disagreements, we will follow the established procedures for conflict resolution within the wrestling club, promoting a harmonious environment for all involved.

 

Setting a Good Example: As parents, we will set a positive example for our child, demonstrating good sportsmanship and respect for others at all times.

 

By adhering to this Code of Conduct, we aim to create a nurturing and supportive environment for our children's wrestling journey, fostering their passion for the sport and helping them develop valuable life skills along the way.
